As promised earlier we planned a nice road trip to Lucknow on the 17th May, 2009. A Qualis was booked for 8 a.m. Trivediji was the first one to take the vehicle to his home to unload some cement which delayed our schedule by an hour and we finally left the campus at 9.30 a.m. It was a good start on a bright morning with Ramchanderji, Surya, Trivediji, Ruchira Ma'am and Devvrat. The journey was full of fun and frolic. Ruchira Ma'am had to see her friend at Burlington so we dropped her there while we ordered a couple of pizzas at Sahara Ganj. Trivediji wanted to visit historical places so we planned to go to Bhool bhulaiya as soon as Ma'am was back.
It was hot but Lucknow was as homely as ever. Photography sessions at the Bada Imambada was followed by the awesome paneer tikka and pasta at Fun Republic. Now it was time for some coffee at the Cultures Cafe.
It was about to be 5 p.m. and Anshu bhaiya was already at home so had to hurry up. Took everyone home and showed around the newly built kitchen and my room. The trip really added some good memories to our collection apart from the new zeal of working for the ABS project. And now after about 20 days, the results can be seen when Ramchanderji got the valve casting made.
