Rocking Mumbai

Having got bored in Ahmedabad for 20 days, I was looking for some outlet to vent my frustation. There are some 30- 40 malls in Ahmedabad and now I have their latitudes on my finger tips. Mumbai came as a sweet respite to me. After a very interesting interview in Renishaw in Pune on 21st, I reached Mumbai the same night. As I have been telling everyone, I asked them more questions than they asked me.
Went on a shopping spree next morning with Baba, first to R city in Ghatkopar and then to Phoenix Mills in the evening. Had fun on the streets of Hiranandani and an exquisite chinese dinner. Bought myself a Delsey laptop bag.
The next day was all dedicated to relaxation on Marine drive and Nariman Point. Enjoyed the cool warm breeze till 6 pm before leaving for train.

Oslo Panorama

Some Panoramas created using the pictures I took in Oslo. Being free on a three day holiday in ISRO, took the occasion to edit these pics and upload on blog.
The first pic was taken from train while returning form Oslo to Gothenberg. It shows beautiful cloud formation. The right bottom corner becomes interesting as the sun appears like a candle flame, caused due to diffraction effect between hills.

The second photo is of the Opera in Oslo. Adjacent to it are the wide highways on one side and sea port on the other side (not visible here). Panorama created using HP Photostitch joining two images.

Oslo is famous for its beaches and panoramas. It was partially cloudy and raining on the day we reached there. So we couldn't really enjoy the beaches. Singla and Bishnoi did try to dive into the ocean but ran out of the freezing water shivering badly. :)

Cool Ahmedabad

Damn!!! This city is flooded with malls. I have already counted upto 25 in half the city. Best one so far appears to be Gulmohar Park beside ISRO with istore and BOSE showroom adjacent to each other. ISKON mall is the other big mall with all fancy brands from Espirit toTommy Hilfiger.
There are uncountable coffee houses and McDonalds. With perfect weather to roam around, this place is a delightful experience.

I am switching my hotel for the second time. This time moving to iSRO guest house.
With Ruchira Ma'am's "How I met my husband stories", the day passes by pleasantly. ISRO people are quite cooperative which is an icing on the cake. Though we are not allowed to take phones inside which makes me hate their system. Attached is the exclusive image taken by the Jugnu Imaging System. It might not send any image when it's up there but it's a big success on earth, performing all the duties my Canon would have.
Another interesting fact : "There are major powercuts around 14th Jan in Ahmedabad because of short-circuits caused during kite flying"
